Thank you to the fashion department at O, the Oprah Magazine, for the drives they donated this past week. We’ll wipe the drives, load mobile operating systems, and Sugar Labs will deploy them globally!
Our newest donor for re-purposed drives is the Uptown Theatre in Minneapolis, Minnesota! Thanks to their generosity, Sugar Labs will be able to put their own special OS onto the drives and ship them across the world to make the technology and connectivity as accessible as possible.
The Uptown Theatre opened in 1916 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Uptown is a single screen movie theatre that shows mostly foreign and independent films, in addition to playing classic and cult movies every weekend at midnight.
